Darlington – Mrs. Ellen Ford, 97, a former resident here died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday at the Knights of Pythias Home in Lafayette. She had lived there since Aug 1955. Born southeast of Darlington she married in 1884 to Henry W. Ford, who died in 1921. She spent her entire lifetime in this community where her husband was a farmer. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. There are no immediate survivors. - kkbz
